Challenge: Understanding and quantifying the company’s environmental value
From day one, System DOT has been a pioneer in the cleaning products industry. No one on the Polish market had previously offered cleaning products in a circular model. To continue delivering on its mission to reduce waste, the company needed a solution that would allow it to precisely measure and communicate the real environmental value of its services.
The key challenge was to accurately measure and present to clients specific figures that show the actual environmental benefits and the “savings” in CO₂ emissions resulting from the closed-loop system for cleaning product packaging.

Solution: Professional LCA analysis in partnership with Envirly
The answer to System DOT’s needs was a comprehensive life cycle assessment (LCA) that provided hard data confirming the environmental value of the service.
The LCA was carried out in a methodical way, using detailed company data. Accurate records of sales, purchasing, warehousing and bottling, which DOT had maintained from the very beginning, significantly simplified and shortened the entire process.
“From my perspective, conducting the LCA with Envirly was convenient and painless. After we shared the numerical data, we had a few meetings to clarify and refine certain points, but overall the whole process went very smoothly.”
– recalls Adam Siedlecki, founder of DOT.
Results: Credibility and competitive advantage
The LCA analysis delivered a number of tangible business benefits for System DOT:
Increased credibility in the eyes of clients, which remains an asset even when the numbers themselves are not always spectacular. “The very fact that we have those numbers is a game changer in the sales process,” Adam summarises.
Positioning as a “provider of tomorrow” – the company is already aligned with future regulatory requirements that its clients will soon have to meet.
“We have defined ourselves as providers of tomorrow, in the sense of those needs that will soon become obligations for companies. It is not just ecology for ecology’s sake – which in itself is a noble idea and brings benefits. The fact that we are already prepared for our clients’ future needs is an asset in which Envirly plays an important role.”
– says Adam Siedlecki, founder of DOT.
Added value for different client groups
For direct clients, who use the data in their own ESG reporting and communication.
For B2B2B partners (cleaning companies, property managers), who pass this environmental value on to their own clients.
“As part of the cooperation, we at DOT provide our clients with an ESG component which we know often will not be used directly for their own needs, but rather passed further down the chain – to their clients, tenants, cleaning companies and all other stakeholders.”
– says Monika Długokęcka, Head of Operations at DOT.
Why work with Envirly?
System DOT values the flexible and dynamic nature of its collaboration with Envirly, which makes it possible to continuously adapt the operating model to the company’s evolving business.
The company also appreciated the robustness of Envirly’s methodology.
“I am very pleased with how much depends on a properly applied methodology. From the perspective of calculating LCA and all environmental footprint metrics, the key issue is which data we include and how deep we go. Envirly provides access to the largest databases, which means the results we receive are as accurate as possible. From my perspective that is highly professional.”
– sums up Adam.

The business value of LCA analysis
“Today we cannot imagine our service without these calculations – at this point they are an integral and very important part of our offering.”
Although DOT is a relatively small company, thanks in part to a professional LCA analysis it can now compete effectively on the market, delivering not only environmentally friendly solutions, but also clear, quantified proof of their value.
The company uses the LCA analysis across multiple business areas:
In its marketing communication (amount of plastic saved, carbon footprint reduction)
In presenting the company’s value to potential investors
In cooperation with direct clients, providing them with data for ESG reporting
In the B2B2B model, where partners use the data to build their own environmental value proposition
The story of System DOT shows that even a small company can have a significant environmental impact and build a competitive advantage on that impact, especially when supported by professional tools that measure and communicate it effectively.
